Located in the municipal district of Getafe, Cerro de los Ángeles is considered by many to be the geographic centre of the Iberian Peninsula.

Presided over by the Monument to the Sacred Heart, built in 1944 with an immense tower, Cerro de los Ángeles is also home to other religious buildings, such as the chapel of Our Lady of the Angels, from the 14th Century, and the Diocesan Seminary of Our Lady of the Apostles, where priests are trained before going on to work within the Dioceses of Getafe.
This area, which is a very popular spot for recreational activities, has picnic areas, footpaths, jogging tracks, fountains, toilets, children's play areas, and a football pitch.
